SERIAL STORYTELLING FOR EDUCATORS

Educators and students can benefit from serial storytelling videos.  You know how TV viewers keep coming back to their favourite dramas or soap opera to see what will  happen next?   Mike’s goal is to do the same for education.

Many school subjects can be made more appealing with the addition of serial storytelling videos, or stand alone storytelling videos.   History is an easy example.  There is suspense and uncertainty, and a timeline which can be told in ‘webisodes’ or instalments.  But other learning can be made more interesting, as well.

Take almost any subject, and Mike Lee can develop for you a video series with ongoing human story that creates excitement, emotional involvement, and reasons to come back for the next lesson.   Mike does not propose replacing established schooling techniques, but I am confident I can demonstrate how serial storytelling can improve enthusiasm for schooling,  just as it can help development a following for NGOs and business brands.

STAND ALONE STORYTELLING FOR EDUCATORS

Storytelling videos can entertain as well as inform.   For example, I felt that many minds were closed to an understanding of Aspergers Syndrome, a form of Autism which, if misunderstood, could make Aspergers seem like a senseless form of anti-social behavior.  So I sought out a famous sport personality who has Aspergers, in this story.

Take any subject that needs teaching, or a better understanding, and you can use Story Telling videos to help open minds.
